Project Summary
Carrier Sekani Family Services engaged Scouten Engineering to provide contract administration services for the renovations at their Medical Clinic and Office located at 987 4th Avenue in Prince George, BC. The renovations were completed through a design-build process. Sahuri + Partners Architecture Inc. was the Prime consultant for the design and IDL Projects Inc was the General Contractor for the construction.
Project Description
Scouten Engineering acted as a third party to facilitate the contract administration which included the preparation of the construction contract documents between Carrier Sekani Family Services and IDL Projects, using a CCDC 14 Stipulated Price Contract.
Scouten reviewed progress draws, confirmed the completion of milestones throughout the course of construction, and issued certificates of payment in accordance with the CCDC and Builders Lien Act. Upon completion of construction, Scouten confirmed that substantial completion had been achieved and issued certificates of substantial completion as well as post notices of issuance on the property.
