Projects will include all types of civil works, including potable water supply, sanitary and storm drainage systems, industrial and commercial site development, and industrial and residential subdivisions.
The successful candidate will be currently registered, or eligible to be registered, as a professional engineer (P. Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC. This position includes working in a modern, well equipped consulting engineering office with the opportunity for occasional field work, including travel around beautiful central and northern British Columbia, and occasionally Alberta, Yukon, and Saskatchewan.
We are in particular need of an Intermediate Civil Engineer with between five to eight years’ experience in:
- Infrastructure engineering including the design of water, sanitary and storm systems, along with transportation, and lot development
- Preparation and checking of engineering calculations
- Development of sketches for distribution to drafting staff
- Management of individual project files, including client liaison
- Authoring and/or review of engineering reports
- Management and mentoring of junior engineering staff
- Occasional site visits
