CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION, PROJECT MANAGEMENT,
INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION - BRIDGES AND BUILDINGS

In addition to providing structural design services,
Scouten & Associates Engineering Ltd. assists
the construction industry by providing field
supervision, project management, inspection and
certification services.
Specific field services include verification
of reinforcing steel placement in cast-in-place
concrete structures, inspection and certification
of formwork and falsework, dimensional checks
of structural elements and pile driving inspection.

Administrative services done on behalf of our
clients include the preparation of change notices,
assessment of contractors' construction schedules
and proposed work plans as well as verification
of progress draws and contract payments.
For commercial and large residential projects,
Scouten & Associates Engineering Ltd. prepares
Letters of Assurance in accordance with the current
BC Building Code and assumes complete responsibility
for the integrity of the building structure.

AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

procurement, construction and commissioning phases
of structural and civil projects.

and contact documents reduce the likelihood of
conflict between the Owner, their Contractors
and the consultant team on a given project. Administrative
and technical documents are prepared with our
clients' best interests in mind, in formats widely
accepted by the consulting engineering and construction
industries in western Canada.
