CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
 
CIVIL ENGINEER     
 
Our Prince George office has an opening for a full-time civil engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience. This position is open-ended and will involve design, project management and client liaison. Preferably you will have experience with water and sanitary sewer design, storm drainage, wastewater treatment, industrial waste management and infrastructure, as well as subdivision design.

This position requires excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare clearly written feasibility studies, engineering reports and communicate effectively face to face with clients. The candidate must possess the ability to work independently as well as supervise staff as required. Travel will be a component of this position.

The candidate must be registered or eligible for registration, with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.

Prince George is British Columbia's northern capital, located in the centre of the province at the confluence of the Fraser and Nechako Rivers. The University of Northern British Columbia has recently expanded to include 25 undergraduate programs, 12 Masters programs and two Doctoral programs at its Prince George campus. The Two Rivers Art Gallery was recently completed and attractions (including a virtual reality ride) were added to Exploration Place, the local museum.
