Current Opprotunities
Civil / Structural Engineer
Our Prince George office has an opening for a full-time civil and structural engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience. This position is open-ended and will involve design, project management and client liaison. Preferably you will have experience with water and sanitary sewer design, storm drainage, wastewater treatment, industrial waste management and infrastructure, subdivision design and resource road design
Structural assignments include design of bridges, formwork, building structures, industrial modifications, industrial scaffolding, cable-barrier installations and seismic design.
This position requires excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare clearly written feasibility studies, engineering reports and communicate effectively face to face with clients. The candidate must possess the ability to work independently as well as supervise staff as required. Travel will be a component of this position.
The candidate must be registered or eligible for registration, with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.

and endless recreational opportunities including
fishing, camping, hunting and snowmobiling. There
are 116 playgrounds and parks, an outdoor ice
oval, tennis courts, two aquatic centres, a sports
multiplex and unlimited backcountry recreational
venues to enjoy.
Popular hiking trails within city limits include
the Heritage River Trail system (an 11 km circuit),
Forests for the World with its interpretive lookouts
over Shane Lake, and L.C. Gunn park, which runs
high on the natural cutbanks overlooking the
Fraser River.

The University of Northern British Columbia
has recently expanded to include 25 undergraduate

Rivers Art Gallery was recently completed and
attractions (including a virtual reality ride)
were added to Exploration Place, the local museum.
